The Pinehurst Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

March 1: Joseph Robert Gendron, 21, of Pinehurst, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and seat belt violation.

Report

Feb. 25: Female, 87, reported a package was never delivered to her new residence on Blake Boulevard.

Feb. 26: Female, 58, reported someone opened credit card accounts in the victim’s name.

Feb. 27: Male, 57, reported the theft of a pack of roofing shingles from a home on Castlewood Lane; Male, 43, reported damage to a 2002 Pontiac following an attempted car break-in; An employee of BB&T reported an individual cashed a counterfeit check and obtained money.

Feb. 28: Female, 72, reported the theft of an iPad following a vehicle break-in that occurred on Cherokee Road.
