The Arc of Moore County presents the third annual Ladies Night Out for Charity on Saturday, April 13, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Pinehurst Country Club, St. Andrews Room.
This event, modeled after the national Mom Prom event for charity, is a fun and festive way to support The Arc of Moore County.
Ladies are encouraged to wear formal or cocktail attire and come to enjoy an evening of dancing, food and socializing all to support a good cause.
Local male "celebrities" will be on hand to escort ladies on the red carpet, and then dance the night away for tips that will benefit The Arc. A silent auction will feature gifts and services from Moore County merchants.
New this year will be live music by the band House Call, which is comprised of local and area doctors.
"Everyone has that favorite party dress that they don't get to wear enough, so this is the perfect occasion to wear it and come out to support a great charity," says a spokesperson for the event.
Tickets prices range from $40 to $75. The $40 donation includes heavy hors d'oeuvres. The $75 donation includes a one-year membership to The Arc and a $10 voucher to be used at the silent auction. There will be a cash wine and martini bar available and valet parking.
Tickets are available at The Arc, 673 S. Bennett St., Southern Pines, 910-692-8272 or by visiting the website, www.thearcofmoore.org.
The Arc is a nonprofit United Way partner organization providing supports and services to people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
