UPDATED: Southern Pines Police say they have Travon Devante Perkins in custody.

The Southern Pines Police Department is requesting the assistance of the community in locating a wanted suspect. The Southern Pines Police Department is actively searching for Travon Devante Perkins who is wanted on an outstanding felony warrant charging him with Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny. Travon Perkins is a black male, 19 years of age, 6’0” tall, 155 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, medium completion with the word “Blessed” tattooed on his left forearm. Travon Perkins, on occasion may be in the company of a seventeen month old child believed to be his son. An investigation by the Southern Pines Police Department has revealed that Travon Perkins is associated with several addresses in Southern Pines, Aberdeen and West End North Carolina.

Anyone observing Travon Perkins is asked to contact 911 and not approach this suspect. Please be prepared to provide as much detailed information as possible such as exact location, last direction of travel, clothing, unusual identifying features or items, vehicle license plates, vehicle color etc.
