Justin Ray scored 22 points and Adam Cummings poured in 18, but it was not enough as Pinecrest fell 78-67 at Richmond Senior Monday night.
The Patriots dropped to 10-5 overall and 2-2 in the Southeastern Conference after their second league loss in a row.
They were scheduled to meet first place and sixth-ranked in the state Hoke County (16-2, 4-0) at home on Tuesday. They travel to Lumberton on Friday.
The Raiders, 13-4, 3-1, led by as many as 20 points late in the third quarter. The Patriots got as close as six with just over a minute remaining on a basket by Ray before the home team wrapped it up at the foul line.
Trey Wooten was another double-figure scorer for the Patriots with 11 points. Trey Pettigrew led the Raiders with 17.
