Patriot Girls Stop Richmond Senior
The Pinecrest girls kept pace a game behind first place Lumberton by defeating Richmond Senior 45-23 in Rockingham Monday evening.
Felicia Painter led the Patriots, 10-6 overall and 3-1 in the Southeastern Conference, with 18 points. Trailing 11-10 late in the first quarter, they held the Raiders (4-11, 2-2) without another field goal until there were just over two minutes left in the game.
