Miss Moore Pageant Seeks Contestants
Miss Moore County Summer Hennings will have the honor of crowning the 2013 Miss Moore County on Saturday, March 9, at the Aberdeen Elementary School Auditorium.
The Miss Moore County Scholarship pageant is seeking young women ages 13 to 24 to participate in this year's pageant.
The deadline for contestants is Feb. 10.
Cathy Davis, executive director, became Miss Moore County's ED in 2010.
"She has been working very hard to give the program a strong foundation for young women," says a spokesman. "For years, girls living in Moore County were only eligible to compete in the Miss Moore County Scholarship Pageant. However, the pageant has recently been able to include young women from six other counties as well: Richmond, Lee, Montgomery, Randolph, Hoke and Scotland. Miss Moore County is another wonderful opportunity in our area for young women to become involved in their communities, service organizations and the Miss America Program."
Miss Moore County is also seeking young ladies ages 3 to 12 years old to participate in Miss Moore County's Outstanding Little Miss pageant. All information for this pageant is also available on the website www.missmoore county.com.
