A Cameron man has been arrested and charged in connection with a break-in that was reported in November, said Moore County Sheriff Lane Carter.

Jesus Calderon, 26, of 15 Thoroughfare Branch Road, was arrested on Jan. 19 and charged with with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession stolen goods. He was placed in the Lee County jail on a $15,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 22 in Moore County District Court.

The arrest stems from a report made on Nov. 16 of breaking and entering report made by Jennifer Frye who lives in West End. Frye advised that she had returned home to find somebody had broken in and taken jewlery and other items.

The arrest was made by Moore County Sheriff's investigators with assistance from the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
