Arrests

Jan. 16: Tiffany Nicollette Dowdy, 24, of Carthage, larceny-shoplifting; Roculo Bautista Leocadio, 31, of Southern Pines, fail to appear-noise ordinance violation; Octavia Shamar Melvin, 21, of Raeford, felony larceny by employee.

Reports

Jan. 16: Male, 66, reported an unauthorized person used his credit card; An employee of American Cleaners, 1906 N. Poplar St., reported the theft of cash from the business.
