The Southern Pines Police are looking for a suspect in robbery that happened at approximately 12:30 a.m.today in the 200 block of SW Broad Street.

Southern Pines Police Lt. Rodney Hardy said the robbery happened to the rear of Southern Prime restaurant.

The victim reported to police that the suspect listed below approached on foot and demanded money.

The subject is described as a black male, approximately 5'6", 150 to 160 lbs. He was weearing a blue parka with white fur trim around the hood. He was reportedly armed with a black handgun. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
