The Southern Pines Police have arrested Jonteryus Montrell Woods, 18 years of age, of Pinebluff, and charged him with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon.

The arrest stems from an investigation by the Patrol and Investigation Divisions relating to an armed robbery which was reported on Nov. 19, 2012 to the Southern Pines Police Department. This incident took place at approximately 7:38 pm at 1675 US 1 Hwy S, Southern Pines, North Carolina. The victim was assaulted during the robbery but did not require medical treatment.

Woods appeared before a Moore County magistrate and was remanded to the Moore County Jail under a $50,000.00 secured bond pending a hearing in Moore County District Court on Jan. 31, 2013.
