Cardinal Gibbons handed the Union Pines boys' basketball team a 57-24 nonconference defeat Tuesday in Raleigh.
Malik Crawford had six points to pace the Vikings, who are now 4-11 overall and 0-4 in the Cape Fear Valley Conference.
Union Pines resumes conference play Friday when it travels to Lillington to take on Western Harnett.
