Liberty Kicks Off Tax Season Friday With 'Fiesta'

Liberty Tax Service, on N.C. 5 next to Food Lion, will holding a tax season grand opening "Fiesta" on Friday to kick off the tax filing season and also raise funds to benefit Animal Advocates of Moore County and the North Carolina Food Bank.
The event will include animal adoptions, food collection, a live radio remote with Rich and Jenny from Star 102.5FM, a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, fire department educational truck for the kids, a police department identification program, pictures taken with Lady Liberty and the tax mobile to raise money for these charities, free food and a special appearance by national Lady Liberty spokesperson Brittany Wojtaszek, flying in from the corporate offices.
Owners Mark and Camelia Adel invite everyone to come out, have some fun and help support some great organizations!
"There is a great deal of uncertainty heading into this upcoming tax season, and our professional tax preparers will be on hand to answer questions for you and to provide guidance on how to best prepare for the filing season," they said.
Founded in 1997 by CEO John T. Hewitt, a pioneer in the tax industry, Liberty Tax Service has prepared more than 9,000,000 individual income tax returns, the news release said. Liberty Tax Service provides computerized income tax preparation, electronic filing and refund loans.
