The community is invited to share in a special evening at The Fresh Market, featuring fine wines and hors d'oeuvres, this Thursday, Feb. 28, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The Fresh Market will close its doors for the evening to host a wine gala event to benefit the Moore County Choral Society (MCCS).
The evening will include wine pairings with tasting notes for wine enthusiasts, and an array of delectable hors d'oeuvres, including shrimp cocktail, distinctive cheeses, rotisserie pork sliders, smoked salmon terrine, and much more.
Live entertainment will be provided by classical guitarist Danny Infantino.
Attendees will enjoy the The Fresh Market's newly remodeled and spacious layout for the evening. This gala event will highlight many of the new and exciting culinary offerings. Recipe cards will be provided for those who would like to recreate these items at home. Special discounts will be available on the evening's featured wines, as well.
Members of the community may support MCCS directly, by participating in this gala event. The Sandhills community benefits directly through a number of MCCS programs, which promote and share choral art through education and public outreach, and celebrate the rich heritage of choral music.
Gala tickets are $25 each, and through the generosity of The Fresh Market, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds will benefit MCCS.
Tickets may be purchased at The Fresh Market, online at www.moorecountychoralsociety.org, or through MCCS choral members.
