Sheriff's Office Charges Aberdeen Man in Armed Robbery

Moore County Sheriff's investigators have arrested an Aberdeen man and charged him in connection with a robbery that occurred on Valentine's Day.
Marques Odom Long, 31, of 10654 N.C. 211, and charged him with one count of felony robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count felony possession with intent to sell/ deliver marijuana, one count misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, one count felony possession of a firearm by a felon, one count misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon, and one count misdemeanor assault on a public officer.
Long was confined in the Moore County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for March 7 in Moore County district court in Carthage.
Long is the second suspect arrested in connection with the robbery.
The Hoke County Office assisted in the apprehension of Long.
