Police Arrest Man Three Times in 28 Hours

Southern Pines Police have arrest of Deadrian Tyrell Brazil, 22, of Aberdeen, for the third time in a 28- hour period.

Deadrian Tyrell Brazil is charged with Possession of Schedule I narcotics with the intent to sell and possession of Schedule II narcotics with the intent to sell.

This arrest was the result of an investigation by the patrol division into suspicious activity in the 400 block of N. Bennett Street on Feb. 22 at approximately 11:20 p.m..

Also arrested at this time was Roneisha Amanda Williams, 17, of Southern Pines. Roneisha Amanda Williams was charged with possession of Schedule I narcotics with the intent to sell, possession of Schedule II narcotics with the intent to sell and carrying a concealed weapon. Two semiautomatic handguns were recovered in this incident in addition to a large quantity of suspected heroin and prescription medication, police said.

On Feb, 23 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Deadrian Tyrell Brazil was served with a warrant by the Southern Pines Police Department charging him with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon. This warrant was served while Brazil was in the custody of the Moore County jail. This arrest was the result of an investigation by the patrol and investigation divisions relating to an armed robbery which was reported on Jan. 16 to the Southern Pines Police Department which occurred in the 200 block of SW Broad Street. Deadrian Tyrell Brazil was released on a $40,000 secure bond for these charges.

On Feb. 21 at approximately 8 p.m. Deadrian Tyrell Brazil was arrested by the Southern Pines Police Department and charged with injury to personal property, possession of a controlled substance, resist delay obstruct a public officer and fugitive from justice. This arrest was related to an investigation by the patrol division of the Southern Pines Police Department into a vandalism incident in the 200 block of W. Vermont Ave in Southern Pines. During this arrest, Brazil fled from the responding patrol officers. After a brief foot pursuit he was taken into custody without incident. At the time of his arrest, Brazil was in possession of a controlled substance. In addition to the charges filed for crimes committed in this incident, Brazil was wanted on two warrants issued in the State of Delaware, the first for possession of a controlled substance and a second outstanding warrant for robbery in the first degree displaying a firearm. Brazil was released on a $15,500 secure bond for these charges.

The Southern Pines Police Department is working closely with the Moore County District Attorney’s Office related to all three of these arrests and the secured bonds previously set are to be modified and raised to $250,000 for Brazil, police said.

For the charges accrued on February 22, 2013 at approximately 11:20 p.m., Brazil appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and was remanded to the Moore County Jail with a secured bond of $75,000 pending a hearing on March 7 in Moore County district court.

Williams appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and was remanded to the Moore County Jail with a secured bond of $45,000 pending a hearing on March 7 in district court.
