Second Moore County Man Arrested in Robbery of Fayetteville Hotel

Sheriff Lane Carter reports that the second robbery suspect that was wanted by the Fayetteville Police Department for the Feb. 13 robbery of the Value Place Hotel has been located.

On Monday Sheriff’s Investigators, Selective Enforcement Unit, State Bureau of Investigation and Investigators from the Aberdeen Police Department apprehended Darrell Talbot Jeffries II. Jeffries as he was attempting to leave a residence in the Aberdeen area of Moore County.

Moore County Investigators arrested Darrell Talbot Jeffries II, 23, of 118 Minter Drive, Aberdeen, N.C. Jeffries was charged with one count of felony robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of felony conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for March 5, 2013 in the Cumberland County District Court in Fayetteville N.C.
