A Carthage man faces multiple charges in connection with the theft of a four wheeler that was reported on Jan. 15.

On Tuesday, Feb. 12 sheriff's Investigators recovered the stolen four-wheeler and arrested Percy Eugene Degraffenreid III, 21, of 520 Needmore Road. Degraffenreid was charged with one count felony larceny of a motor vehicle and one count of felony possession of stolen goods. He was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for February 28, 2013 in Moore County District Court.

The arrest stemmed from the investigation into a report made on Jan. 15 of a larceny of a Yamaha four wheeler.
