Man Faces Cruelty Charge After Dog Shot, Killed

A Robbins man is facing an animal cruelty charge after dog shot, killed.

James Callaway Holbrook, 57, of 132 Nall Lane, was charged with one count of felony cruelty to animals in connection with a report made by woman in Robbins who said her neighbor shot and killed her dog that was confined inside a fenced portion of her yard.

Holbrook was arrested on Jan. 30 and placed in the Moore County jail under a $5,000 secured bond.
