The Sandhills Community College basketball team (19-5) was humbled for the second time this season by Louisburg College (21-1) Saturday afternoon.

The Flyers dropped to No. 10 in the NJCAA Division III rankings after the 108-73 road loss to the No. 4 in Division II Hurricanes. Montre’l Cooke led the Flyers with 13 points.

Coach Mike Apple’s squad continues a stretch of three non-conference games in a row when it entertains William Peace at The O’Neal School’s Tate Gym tonight at 7 p.m.
