Carthage Man Faces Felony Drug Charges

A Carthage man is facing multiple drug charges, including felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, after officers from the Moore County Sheriff's office executed a search warrant at a home.

Fredrick Lee Munnerlyn was arrested on Friday, Feb. 1 and charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Munnerlyn received a $5,000.00 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.

The arrest stems from the execution of a search warrant at a home at 106 Amanda Drive on Feb. 1. Officers located and seized approximately 102 grams of marijuana, $758.96 in U. S. currency, and items of drug paraphernalia, including digital scales. The estimated street value of the marijuana seized is $1,020.

Does Anyone Know more about Southern Pines Plain Cloth officers walking the streets of downtown Last Friday night and taking out a couple on the sidewalk.... The Lady was just walking home and they attacked the Gentleman in a wheel chair chocking him and breaking his chair and damaging more nerves in his back..... He was later thrown into police car and hauled to jail wiothout proper restraint then rushed to Emergency room for injuries from Officers attack.....

I wonder how much that will cost taxpayers!!!!
