Two Aberdeen Residents Face Felony Drug Charges

Two Aberdeen residents face drug charges after law enforcement officers today executed a search warrant at a resident at 245 Fellowship Way, Aberdeen.

Officers arrested Wanda Jones, 40, of the residence, and Ralph Lamarr Verbal, 30, of 160 Verbal Place.

Jones, is charged with felony trafficking in MDA/MDMA (Ecstasy), two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule I controlled substance, two counts of felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of counterfeit currency, misdemeanor possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug parapherna Schedule IV controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

She received a $120,000 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County jail.

Verbal is charged with felony trafficking in MDA/MDMA (Ecstasy), two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule I controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of cocaine, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Verbal received a $50,000 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County jail.

During the search officers located and seized approximately 134 dosage units of Ecstasy pills, 13 dosage units of Heroin, 19 grams of marijuana, residual amount of cocaine, 3 dosage units of Darvocet prescription pills, 1 dosage unit of Dolophine prescription pill, 1 dosage unit of Endocet prescription pill, a counterfeit twenty dollar bill, $1,305.00 in U. S. currency, and items of drug paraphernalia including 3 sets of digital scales.

The warrant was executed by officers from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Selective Enforcement Unit, Pinehurst Police Department, and Southern Pines Police Department, Sheriff Lane Carter said.

Ecstasy and Heroin are Schedule I controlled substances.

Endocet and Dolophine are Schedule II controlled substances.

Darvocet is a Schedule IV controlled substance.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $3,500.
