I am amazed at the attitude of Chuck Minichiello (Sept. 16) after hearing Anita MonCrief speak at the “True the Vote” talk. She certainly speaks from the heart about leaving ACORN and becoming a Republican after being a Democrat for some time.
She is exposing ACORN for what it really is, corrupt. It’s too bad Mr. Minichiello didn’t get her message.

Too funny! ACORN was long ago scuttled and no longer exists (except in fevered conservative minds) even though they never registered a single fake voter. Now we find that our Republican friends are being accused of hiring a company to perpetrate voter fraud on a multi-state basis, including North Carolina. Oh, the irony!!!
Looks like Pud Kent wants to reclaim the title of stupidest letter ever. Almost there...

I'm sure the fact that Ms. Moncrief was fired from ACORN (which, as pointed out, is now defunct) for using their credit card for personal use--i.e. stealing from them--doesn't affect her credibility on the subject at all.

I hadn't realized how qualified she was to speak to tea partiers.

How about we let folks listen a little to Anita MonCrief and decide for themselves without the above noise from the peanut gallery...Mike

Aka "facts," something for which Lyin' Miane has no use.

It must really be bad news for the Liberals for the two heavy hitters in Moore County to bring out their ill informed artillery.

The artillery tubes they use skylinefirepest normally fire dud rounds. Since the name ACORN has been scrubbed and sanitized; it therefore leads to their premise that it no longer exists. It reminds me of the time a few months ago when DR quoted President GW Bush with about seven words stating that he was longer concerned about Bin Laden. When I provided the actual statement President Bush made to the media it consisted of about a thousand words. The President's context of his words were about his primary concern being for our troops and allies in the field and how they were his main priority. DR's reply was that he still stood by his statement as Bush had in fact said those several words (Amongst the thousand other words). Comments from him and Heim have become laughable and only to be believed if you find an accurate source document yourself. And of course President Bush never gave up on Bin Laden and had many continuiing the search which ultimately led to his demise while President Obama was in office and got to spike the ball....MANY TIMES! Yes Geoff...the pigs are still planted firmly on the ground rooting and grunting. They can be seen wallowing around up to their old tricks of skewing and stinking up the actual news on several of the Pilot topics.
