The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.
Reports
Sept. 10: Male, 72, reported the theft of blank checks from a home on Atkins Road, Cameron.
Sept. 17: Female, 34, reported the theft of electronics equipment, jewelry and cash from a home on Putnam Glendon Road, Carthage; Male, 53, reported someone removed a battery and a radiator from a vehicle parked on Glendon Carthage Road; An employee of Neighbor’s Country Store reported an individual wrote a check with insufficient funds in account; Deputies responded to a report of damaged mailboxes on Dowd Road, Carthage.
Sept. 19: Male, 24, reported being threatened by another during an incident at a home on Lynn W Road; Male, 52, reported the taking of a truck from a business on U.S. 15-501, Carthage; Female, 56, reported damage to mailboxes on Lamms Road, Carthage.
Sept. 20: Female, 39, reported someone broke into a vehicle at a home on Raven Glass Drive and removed a CD player and a CD; Male, 41, reported someone possibly entered a vehicle parked on Overlook Drive, West End; Male, 57, reported someone broke into a vehicle parked at a home on Rothbury Drive and removed eight cigarettes, an electronic cigarette, an electronic cigarette charger and assorted change.
Sept. 21: Female, 27, reported someone broke into a home on Morgan Lane, Pinebluff, and removed cash, two televisions and a DVD player; Female, 21, reported the theft of a vehicle from a home on River Road, Robbins. The vehicle was recovered; Male, 36, reported damage to mailboxes on Upper Road, Seagrove; Female, 73, reported the theft of scrap metal from an outbuilding on N.C. 705.
Sept. 22: Male, 63, reported someone entered a storage building on Mills Place and removed power tools and a car transmission.
Sept. 23: Female, 28, reported someone hit her vehicle during an incident at a home on Candor Road, Eagle Springs; Male, 24, reported damage to mailboxes on Roseland Road, Aberdeen.
