The Pinebluff Lions Club will hold their annual fall barbecue and bake sale Friday, Sept. 28, at the Lions Clubhouse.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m.

Barbecue, cole slaw, paprika potatoes, hushpuppies and sweet iced tea will be served for only $7.

Various cakes, pies and pastries will also be available at $1 each.

As always, Lions Club brooms will be for sale. The "Pinebluff Lions Cookbook" is also available at a cost of $5 each.

"You can also leave messages concerning requests for plates on voice mail at the same numbers," says a spokesman. "Orders can also be faxed to (910) 281-5500."

The Pinebluff Lions are collecting used eyeglasses, hearing aids, cellphones and printer cartridges.

"We are also recycling aluminum cans," says the spokesman. "If you have any of these items, please drop them off when you pick up your barbecue plates."
