Aberdeen Man Charged in Connection with SP Burglary

An Aberdeen man faces charges in connection with a burglary that occurred on South Ridge Street, Southern Pines police said.
Southern Police police have arrested Carlos Gonzalez, 22, and charged him with felony first degree burglary, felony second degree burglary, three counts of misdemeanor injury to personal property, misdemeanor intoxicated and disruptive and resist, delay and obstruct a police officer.
The charges stem from an investigation by the SPPD patrol division into a burglary that was reported at 3:33 a.m. on Sept. 14.
Gonzalez was arrested on the scene by the responding officers. He appeared before a Moore County magistrate and was remanded to the Moore County Jail under $20,000 bond pending a hearing on Sept. 27 in Moore County district court.
