The Miss Moore County Scholarship Association Pageant will hold an orientation meeting at Community Presbyterian Church in Pinehurst on Saturday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m.

The Miss Moore County Scholarship Association pageant is a preliminary pageant for Miss North Carolina and the Miss America system.

Young ladies who exhibit style, success, scholarship and service are encouraged to participate for a wonderful opportunity to win scholarship funds.

Teen contestants age 13-16 will compete in fitness and formal wear, and Miss contestants age 17-24 will compete in swimsuit and formal wear.
