Carthage Woman Faces Charge of Obtaining Prescription Pills by Fraud

A Carthage woman has been arrested and charged with obtaining controlled prescription pills by fraud, reports Moore County Sheriff Lane Carter.
Savannah Shay Waller, 21, of 116 Collins Lane, was arrested Monday and charged with felony obtaining a controlled substance by fraud/forgery.
The arrest stems from an investigation conducted by officers from the Moore County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit and involved an individual obtaining Percocet by altering a prescription. Percocet is a Schedule II controlled substance.
Waller received a written promise to appear in court and was released.
