Six Moore Residents Arrested in Drug Sting

An undercover drug sting coordinated by the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit netted several arrests today, Sheriff Lane Carter announced.
The operation has been conducted within the past year and involved purchases of street-level quantities of cocaine and prescription pills. The operation was conducted in the Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Carthage, and Eagle Springs areas of Moore County.
Arrested were:
- Bobby Lionel Williams, 38, of 5900 N.C. Highway 24-27 in Carthage. He was arrested on Sept. 10 and charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, two counts of felony sell cocaine, and two counts of felony deliver cocaine. He received a $15,000.00 unsecured bond and was released.
- Corey Antoine Lindsey, 28, of 896 Eagle Springs Road in Eagle Springs. Lindsey was arrested on Sept. 10 and charged with felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. At the time of arrest, officers conducted a search and seized approximately 46 grams of cocaine, 19 grams of marijuana, $529 in cash and digital scales. Lindsey was then charged with felony trafficking in cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $65,000.00 secured bond on all charges and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.
- James Henry Ray, Jr., 36, of 122 Jones St. in Aberdeen. Ray was arrested on Sept. 10 and charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, two counts of felony sell cocaine, and two counts of felony deliver cocaine. He received a $15,000.00 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.
- Shabar Delana Thomas, 33, of 139 Hodgins St. in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Thomas was arrested on Sept. 10, 2012 and charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, two counts of felony sell cocaine, and two counts of felony deliver cocaine. Thomas received a $15,000.00 unsecured bond and was released.
- Kenneth Travis Brower, 48, of 302 Simpson Road in Carthage. Brower was arrested on Sept. 10 and charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, two counts of felony sell cocaine, and two counts of felony deliver cocaine. Brower received a $15,000.00 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.
- Sherry Adrianne Clark, 29, of 157 Wyatt Road in Robbins. Clark was arrested on Sept. 10 and charged with three counts of felony trafficking in Opiates, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony sell a Schedule III controlled substance, and felony deliver a Schedule III controlled substance. Clark received a $15,000.00 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.
