The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.

Arrests

Sept. 6: Laura Elizabeth Merritt, 18, of Seven Lakes, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reports

Sept. 4: Female, 31, reported the theft of jewelry from a home on Dowd Road, West End.

Sept. 5: Male, 26, reported the theft of a CD player/radio and dishes from a home on McKeithen Road, Vass; Male, 49, reported the theft of a backpack blower, a chain saw, a gas can and four gallons of gas from a home on Dowd Road, Carthage.

Sept. 6: Female, 44, reported the theft of various electronics, a suitcase, a computer, jewelry, microwave oven, range, clothes steamer, vacuum, iron and hunting boots after a break-in at a home on Claines Loop Road; Male, 59, reported the theft of truck parts and vehicle batteries from a home on Murdocksville Road, Carthage; An Employee of Professional Services & Landscape, Grant Street, West End, reported the theft of heavy lawn equipment from the business.

Sept. 7: Male, 65, reported the theft of handguns, hunting knives, a safe, boxes of wine, liquor, assorted pills, jewelry, video games, video game system, shoes, cash and an ammunition clip.

Sept. 9: Male, 37, reported the theft of chain saws from a home on Durham Creek Court, Carthage; Male, 28, reported someone entered his home on N.C. 73, West End, and removed two televisions, a jewelry box and various electronic equipment; Male, 57, reported the theft of assorted microphones, harmonicas, an amplifier and a television from a home on Niagara-Carthage Road, Southern Pines; Female, 46, reported a known person damaged her car by shooting it with airsoft pellets during an incident at a home on Sandspur Lane, West End; Male, 50, reported damage to a door and an interior wall at a home on Sarges Drive, Carthage.
