Documentary Set for Sunrise Tonight

Central Park N.C. presents the compelling documentary Split Estate at the Sunrise Theater in Southern Pines, tonight (Tuesday, Sept 11), at 6.30 p.m. The documentary discusses hydraulic fracturing (fracking) and its impact on the community, the environment and water.

After the movie, Hope Taylor, executive director of Clean Water for NC will discuss fracking in North Carolina. This is a free, public event.

Central Park N.C. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a new economy through the sustainable use of the natural and cultural resources of the Central Park region of the state, encompassing Anson, Davidson, Montgomery, Moore, Randolph, Richmond, Rowan and Stanly counties.
