Not So Affordable

Does anyone think it strange that the 2013 Medicare costs will not be made public until after the election?

According to “Medicare & You 2013” and www.medicare.gov, “Medicare premium and deductible amounts weren’t available.”

Perhaps this is the president’s way of telling us that the Affordable Care Act is not so affordable.

If the author learns to use the Internet, his knowledge-base will increase. He should look here for the numbers that he thinks are being hidden:

http://www.medicare.gov/your-medicare-costs/costs-at-a-glance/costs-at-glance.html

or

http://www.medicare.com/medicare-coverage-basics/medicare-premiums-and-deductibles-for-20122013.html

See? That wasn't so hard. What was this about the ACA not being affordable?

Today at rehab, I learned that as of October 01, 2012 there is a cap on rehab expenses that Medicare will pay: $1880.00 per person per year. That is a great departure from previous years when there was no real cap......the affect(s) of Obamacare, no doubt.

maratonman, actually that is the result of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997. Conclusion jumping is not an aerobic exercise and will not improve your health.
