Many Questions

I do feel badly that Frank Lisco thinks that “GOP Actions Have Been Un-American” (Oct. 14). He states that the entire Republican Party has been in a conspiracy to make Obama fail.

If anything, the liberal Democrat machine has been conspiring against the GOP for quite a few years.

There are things about Obama that really puzzle me. What has he accomplished in the last four years? Why does he enjoy golf to the point of neglecting his job? Why is it OK for him and Michelle to take many very lavish vacations when his predecessor was content to go to Crawford and be good to our military?

Why does everyone in the USA owe $50,000, even when they’re born? Or is it more by now? Why doesn't Mr. Lisco realize that Congress holds the purse strings, and the Democrats controlled Congress for President Bush’s last two years?

Where was Obama born? Why did he go to Occidental College as an exchange student? How can he be a citizen of this country?

Why is Obamacare 2,700 pages long, and why shouldn't doctors make decisions on their own instead of a committee selected by Obama and his czars in Washington?

The Republicans are accused of being obstructionists. It seems to me that Obama is the obstructionist. He promised transparency and reaching across the aisle.

I have yet to see any transparency, and the Republicans have been shut out of just about all decisions.

Emily, Republicans announced after Obama's election that their only goal was to make him a one-term president. They said they feared that the health care plan produced by Congress would be popular, so they opposed it. Fearing that improvements in jobs would be to his credit, they have been opposing all measures that might help Americans (even military veterans) find jobs.

They even refused to raise the national debt limit to accommodate the spending they already approved, just to crater the country's credit rating and make Obama look bad.

These are very bad people and were probably the kids our parents warned us to stay away from.

By the way, Bush signed each and every spending bill the Democratic Congress sent him. Where was his spine?

Here is JimHeim criticizing Bush because he "signed each and every spending bill the Democratic Congress sent him." Yet JimHeim supported each and every spending bill proposed by Democrats. Too funny! Cheers!

"Republicans announced after Obama's election that their only goal was to make him a one-term president."

Which is one term more than he should have gotten based on his ridiculously thin resume. The absolute least qualified man to ever hold the office.
