The Pinehurst Police Department provided the following information.

Reports

Oct. 17: Male, 17, reported a 1984 Oldsmobile caught fire on Monticello Drive near Surry Circle North; Female, 60, reported the theft of two political signs from property in the 200 block of St. Andrews Drive; Female, 59, of the 200 block of Merion Circle, reported someone obtained the victim’s credit card number and used the information to make a purchase online.

Oct. 19: Female, 47, reported a family member took assorted jewelery and a camera from a home in the 300 block of Sugar Gum Drive, Pinehurst; Female, 53, reported a vehicle hit a stop sign in the median on Chinquapin Road.

Oct. 20: Female, 65, reported someone solicited money from a male, 64, at a business in the 200 block of Beulah Hill Road.
