This year is a critical election for the N.C. Supreme Court. Justice Paul Newby is up for re-election, and has served our state extremely well for the past eight years.

He is opposed by a man with a known name, Sam Erwin — his grandfather’s name — that may cause voters to cast a ballot for him without knowledge.

Justice Newby is known to be a man of integrity, one that our state needs to continue a conservative leadership in the court. His experience and good reputation alone is a reason to re-elect Paul Newby to our Supreme Court.

He has widespread bipartisan support across the state, and has been endorsed by four former chief justices, two of each party, as well as law enforcement, legal and business groups.
