Gas Price Mystery

There have been quite a few letters written about gas prices in this area, and no one has a good answer to why our prices are higher.
At the BP on the corner of N.C. 5 and US 1/15-501, the price is $3.87. Five miles down on N.C. 5, where Blake Boulevard intersects, the price is also $3.87.
The gas station beside the Kolcraft plant on N.C. 211 going toward Raeford is $3.69. Farther down N.C. 211, as you enter Raeford, the price is $3.55.
I believe the real answer as to the higher prices in this area is that we get a SPECIAL gas here and therefore have to pay more for it.
Shame on the owners of these stations charging 32 cents a gallon more than Raeford.
I hope the owners respond to this and explain this difference.
