Cameron Man Facing Drug Charges

A Cameron man is facing multiple drug charges.
Officers from the Moore County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit on Oct. 15 arrested Harvey Franklin Hardy, 38, of 360 Bass Road, and charged him with with felony trafficking in Opiates, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a place to keep controlled substance, felony possession of firearm by felony, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hardy received a $5,000.00 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County jail.
The arrest resulted from the execution of a search warrant at a home located at 360 Bass Road. Officers located and seized approximately 87 grams of high grade marijuana, 32 dosage units of methadone prescription pills, 3 firearms, and $177. Methadone is a Schedule II controlled substance . The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $2,500.
