Southern Pines police are looking for anyone with information about an armed robbery reported Friday night.

Police say two victims on foot reported they were approached by a black male who produced a handgun and demanded they surrender their property. The suspect is described as slightly less than 6-feet tall, average build with a pudgy face, dark brown skin, wearing dark clothing and a hooded jacket.

The incident took place at 11:05 p.m. on W. Connecticut Avenue and N. Page Street.
