The Pinecrest freshmen (7-1) completed their season with a 30-0 home victory over Hoke County Thursday afternoon.
The Patriots started fast scoring on a two-yard sneak by quarterback Christian Ledbetter that was set up by runs of about 15-yards each by Sam Williams and Crash Burns. They added a second touchdown in the first period on a 48-yard pass from Ledbetter to wide receiver Mishak McRae. Kyle Corbett converted both times, making it 14-0.
A slant from Ledbetter to Stephon Stephens for a 25 yard score, and another conversion by Corbett, increased the margin to 21-0 at halftime.
In the fourth quarter, a two-yard touchdown run by Juwayne Roper and a 25-yard field goal by Corbett completed the scoring.
