Eagle Springs Woman Faces Medicaid Fraud Charge

An Eagle Spring woman has been charged by the Moore County Sheriff's in connection with a reported Medicaid fraud, according to Sheriff Lane Carter.
On Oct. 3 Sheriff's investigators arrested Shannon Nall, 36, of 15866 N.C. 24-27 and charged her with medical assistance recipient fraud. Her bond was sett at $15,000. A first court appearance in Moore County district court is set for Oct. 25.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a report made on Sept. 26 by the Department of Social Services. An investigator with the DSS advised that the fraud was for benefits on a minor child in the home of 15866 N.C. 24-27. The minor was supposed to be living at the location but was not.
