I enjoyed reading Fred Wolferman’s new idea for “Just the Slogan the GOP Needs” (Sept. 7).

I tried to think of a memorable line myself, recognizing how difficult it is to create something to motivate most undecided voters, without alienating or misleading them. I came up with: “Romney/Ryan … solutions, not excuses.”

I am referring here to the specific items spelled out in Romney’s blog, “Believe in America, Day One, Job One,” which the media and the Democratic pundits continue to ignore, saying that the GOP candidates have no specific plans or ideas.
