The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.

Reports

Sept. 21: Female, 28, reported the theft of a vehicle from a home on River Road, Robbins; Male, 36, reported damage to mailboxes at a home on Upper Road, Seagrove; Female, 73, reported the theft of scrap metal from a home on N.C. 705, Seagrove.

Sept. 23: Female, 28, reported damage to a vehicle parked at a home on Candor Road, Eagle Springs; Male, 24, reported damage to a mailbox at a home on Roseland Road, Aberdeen; An employee of Mills Place, Biscoe, reported the theft of power tools, a floor jack and a turbo racing transmission from a storage building on the property.

Sept. 25: Female, 64, reported that someone broke into a home on Crane’s Creek Road, Cameron, and removed a handgun, a laptop computer, assorted jewelry and boxes of electrical wire.

Sept. 26: An employee of Charter Communications reported damage to communication boxes and the theft of batteries; Male, 65, reported someone broke into a home on Riverview Drive, Vass, and removed cash; Male, 59, reported someone broke into a home on U.S. 15-501, Carthage.

Sept. 27: An employee of C&M Carriers, Doubs Chapel Road, reported the theft of batteries from trucks at the business; Male, 43, reported the theft of credit cards for the purpose of making purchases.
