A Cameron man faces charges in connection with a breaking and entering and larceny, Sheriff Lane Carter said.

On Sept. 26 investigators arrested Chad Allen Ackermann, 28, of 448 Craines Creek Road. He is charged with one count of felony breaking or entering, one count of felony larceny, and one count of felony possession of stolen goods. He was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond with a first court appearance of Oct. 11 in district court in Carthage.

The arrest stems from an investigation into an report made on Sept. 24 of a break-in and larceny from a residence in the Cameron area.

While investigating the incident, Moore County Sheriff’s Investigators located property belonging to the victim and were able to identify a suspect.
