A Long Four Years

We are thankful for our U.S. Marine Corps nephew, Cpl. Joseph Wambach, who has served two tours in Afghanistan to protect our freedom. These are his comments after his recent re-enlistment ceremony at Camp Pendleton, in California.

“I’ve lived in the dirt; I’ve dug more holes than a kid would; been cold/hot and miserable more than most. I’ve known and seen more faces than imaginable; I’ve sweated double the water you could drink in seven months. I’ve had more sand in my eyes than the beach; I can speak many different languages, but not fluently. I’ve been so many places and seen so many things in the last four years, I can only imagine what the next four are going to bring.”
