Grace Christian defeated visiting O’Neal 76-63 Tuesday in boys’ high school basketball.

After the Grace Christian got hot from behind the three-point line in the third quarter to break open a close game. The two teams opened the third quarter with Grace Christian leading 42-31, but Grace Christian got hot from behind the arc in the third quarter to break away from the Falcons. At the end of three, the Falcons trailed 65-44.

Mark Riches had 32 points to lead Grace Christian and B.J. Harrison hit six threes in adding 25.

Jacob Talbert paced O’Neal with 23 and Jack Johnston had 16 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Luke Elliott added eight points as nine players contributed to the Falcons’ point total.

O’Neal, now 1-1 for the season, plays Friday at Faith Christian.
