Temple Theatre welcomes back "A Christmas Carol" as Sanford's favorite holiday tradition.
"Back by popular demand, this original production is sure to delight the entire family," says a spokesman.
The production will be held Thursdays through Sundays from Nov. 29 through Dec. 16.
"Come enjoy traditional Christmas carols, as well as some new songs composed exclusively for this production by Michael Hoagland," says the spokesman. "One of the songs, 'Dear Mr. Jesus,' was recorded by Lisa Dames, and it became a No. one hit online on the country Christmas charts."
"A Christmas Carol" boasts a cast of 42, 17 of whom are professionals, and the remainder are local people who want to be involved in theater.
Showtimes are Thursdays at 2 and 7 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $23 for adults, $19 for active military, teachers or groups of 10 or more, and $13 for students.
Tickets are available by calling (919) 774-4155.
