Moore Philharmonic Orchestra Announces Winter Concert

Celebrate the holiday season by enjoying an afternoon of free holiday music.
The Moore Philharmonic Orchestra will hold its eighth annual winter concert at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, the Sunrise Theater.
Since 2005, the Moore Philharmonic Orchestra has served the Sandhills -community supporting music appreciation and education. It provides an outlet for approximately 50 volunteer musicians to perform varied programs of orchestral -literature. Members include adults and -talented college, high school and middle school students.
The Sunrise Theater is located at 250 NW Broad St., in downtown Southern Pines.
No tickets are required, but tax-deductible donations are always welcome. Proceeds will support a scholarship fund benefiting Moore County music students and will help cover operating and general expenses for the Orchestra.
