The Southern Pines Recreation and Parks Department will sponsor a baby sitters training class open to ages 11 and up Wednesday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The class will be held at the Train House.

Register online at www.southernpines.net, pay in the office located in the Campbell House, or by mail to: SP Rec, 482 E. Connecticut Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387.

The registration fee is $25 for residents and $50 for nonresidents.

"Bring lunch and a drink and be ready to learn and have fun," says a spokesman.
