New 4-H Year Begins

Moore County 4-H is gearing up for another year of fun.
"We invite you to join us on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 6:30 p.m. for an information and organizational meeting at the Agricultural Center, 707 Pinehurst Ave., Carthage," says Linda Gore, 4-H agent. "Make things, go on tours, participate in fun hands-on activities, conduct community service projects and share what you learn are some of the things you can do in 4-H. Through club activities, youth gain skills in decision-making, communications and cooperation."
4-H offers more than 200 projects and activities that help youth learn new skills.
Adult volunteers lead the club, which meets once a month."
4-H is a youth organization committed to building outstanding leaders with marketable skills to succeed in today's global society.
