The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.
Reports
Oct. 29: Male, 40, reported someone broke into a home on Doubs Chapel Road,Carthage, and removed a DVD player, a window air conditioning unit and a video game console; Female, 27, reported someone used her identity to sign a lease; Male, 85, reported receiving harassing phone calls at a home on L Cooper Road, Cameron.
Oct. 30: Male, 45, of Whispering Pines, reported someone defrauded him out of money; Female, 38, reported damage to three tires on a 2011 Ford SUV; Female, 24, reported an attempted break-in at a home on Alston House Road, Sanford.
Oct. 31: Male, 47, reported someone broke into a truck parked at a home on Needhams Road; Male, 56, reported someone broke into a home on Heritage Farm Road, Carthage, and removed a rifle; Male, 70, reported the theft of pine straw from property on U.S. 15-501, Aberdeen.
Nov. 1: Female, 48, reported the theft of a purse from a home on Summerhill Church Road, Carthage; Officers responded to a home on Cobblestone Court, West End, for a report of vandalism inside the home.
Nov. 2: Female, 52, reported damage to a window on a 2007 Hyundai caused by a rock near N.C. 211 and Tuckaway Lane, Eagle Springs.
Nov. 3: Male, 18, reported the theft of a television after a break-in at a home on Jasper Road, Robbins.
