Aberdeen Man Faces Drug Charges

An Aberdeen man is facing drug and weapon charges after authorities executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Moore Street in Aberdeen.
On Thursday, detectives from the Moore County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Unit and the Aberdeen Police department arrested Larry Alexander Leverett, 21, of Aberdeen, and charged with with possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, maintaining a place to keep controlled substance, simple possession of marijuana, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance (Hydrocodone) and, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property.
During the execution of the search warrant officers seized two grams of cocaine, one Hydrocodone, two grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a firearm and $1,261cash.
Leverett received a $15,000.00 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County jail.
